Service Description
This is a 6 class series, with each class focusing on a new topic, in a different location, and allowing for practice in a controlled group with several types of distractions. March 1st: Address individual growth areas in a new environment around controlled distractions with hands on professional guidance. March 8th: An overview of cooperative care techniques for grooming, handling and vetting. Introduction to proprioception development including exercises over a proprioception course with obstacles to improve body awareness, learning aptitude, and trust in handler. March 15th: We will take our training to a busy urban environment where we will promote engagement, neutrality and obedience skills while we navigate crowds and various stimuli. *Please note there is no class on March 22nd* March 29th: Learn how to use your training to develop play skills with your dog, and build your relationship through play. April 5th: Work on your patio restaurant manners followed by a walk through downtown to get ice-cream (for humans & dogs)! Pizza on Rockem! April 12th: After five weeks of working in tandem with our group, we will take to the trails for a pack hike and coach you through healthy pack dynamics. Our graduates who have previously participated in this class really took their training to the next level, had great learning and bonding experiences with their dogs, and connected with new friends throughout the process!
